Are you some kind of hypnotist?

This herb gets cool round flower heads on it this time of year. Plus it smells very medicinal if you rub your hands in it. I'm sure it's supposed to do something but I've never bothered to look it up.

I'm a little sprout of some sort. I live in the moss at the base of this big tree. Me and all my friends are very green.

This is the "leaf" of a sea holly (I put leaf in quote because the leaf is really more fleshy and prickly than a normal leaf). I just like the texture of the whole thing, though it's easier to see in the original sized photo.

This is a banana native to Japan. Just like the other picture I really like the way this new leaf is all curled up waiting to grow the rest of the way out of the stalk.

I have a couple of banana trees growing in the yard. This is the Chinese banana native to the mountains somewhere in Southern China.
I liked the shape of the leaf, perfectly curled, coming out of the stalk.
