Wild Iris

Very near the plant with the white ball flower, were a few wild iris. I was very excited to see this and took several photos. This is the best.
The iris barely rises above the ground and the leaves are only 6 inches tall at best. |

Siberian Iris

This siberian iris is almost done blooming. The one right above him has been done for a few days and all that remains is a brown shrivel.

I snuck out inbetween rain showers to take a couple photos of the last remaining new iris. This is one of them.
Very frilly and almost totally white, there's just a hint of blue down deep inside the falls. But you can't see that from this shot. |

Looking similar to a Siberian iris this is a Japanese iris located in the Jackson & Perkins display garden.

A variety native to the northern North America this is a new plant this year for me. It's got this delightful little purple flower, and the plant is only about 5' tall.
