This is the stem of the Voodoo Lilly. It's freaky and spotted.

This is the left over flower stalk of a voodoo lilly. Behind it is the stem. Earlier this spring the flower came up for a couple days and then it died. The stem and leaves are starting to come out now.

I'm a little sprout of some sort. I live in the moss at the base of this big tree. Me and all my friends are very green.

Bamboo grows really fast. This shoot grows several (as in at least 10 or 12) inches a day.
I stuck my camera down at the bottom on the shoot and took a picture up into the sky. The top of the shoot is at least 6 feet up.
